Sistem informasi pemantauan benda jatuh antariksa realtime ini merupakan hasil dari penelitian LAPAN tahun 2010 yang berjudul "Upgrading Sistem Diseminasi Benda Jatuh Antariksa dari Temporer menjadi Mingguan" dan merupakan salah satu Riset Insentif LAPAN 2010 yang dibiayai oleh Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan TInggi, Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional melalui Riset Insentif Peningkatan Kemampuan Peneliti dan Perekayasa (PKPP) Kementerian Riset dan Teknologi.
